CONCEPT

For Magic Movers - a company specializing in the transport of premium items, from fine art to non-standard, oversized goods - we designed and built a dedicated web application that transformed their logistics operations. The primary goal of the project was full automation of the order handling process.

What makes this implementation truly disruptive is the creation of a system that operates as an independent module while seamlessly exchanging data with the main order management system. This approach fully digitized processes specific to handling luxury and delicate goods, significantly reducing operational costs and ensuring security at every stage - from warehouse intake to courier dispatch.

PROJECT

A functional, problem-oriented approach to Magic Movers’ challenges enabled deep optimization of their logistics processes. We designed a warehouse system that provides full control over goods flow, integrating with external fleet management software while remaining a separate, dedicated entity.

We focused on building an interface that supports employees in precise verification and safe storage of high-value items. Through automated printouts and accurate parcel tracking, the system delivered tangible cost reductions while maintaining high code quality (TDD) and an intuitive UX.

SPECIFICATION

The delivered system gave Magic Movers full control over parcel flow and complete transparency at every stage of transport. By combining mobile technologies (QR codes, photos) with a robust TDD-based backend, the client gained a tool that reduced order handling costs, shortened delivery times, and provided real-time, end-to-end shipment control.
